Now O’clock

Now O’clock abandons the measurements of time for viewers. The second hand oscillates like a metronome.

Moments reminds people to enjoy the present moment. As Marina Abramović pointed out, “We always project into the future or reflect in the past, but we are so little in the present.”

I want to give viewers delight in an interactive way, like having them imagine a cloud on the floor for them where they can lie down and take a nap. Or by asking them about their “special moments,” then create illustrationspostersanimations, or sculptures where these moments are gathered and shared.

I hope to offer a state of mind for the viewers and to create a threshold space that would allow them to pause and appreciate daily experiences in their everyday lives.
